Heart Foundation Walking (HFW) is Australia's largest national network of free community based walking groups led by volunteer walk organisers.
Heart Foundation Walking aims to make regular physical activity enjoyable and easy, especially for people who are not used to being active. Walking is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels and also has a very low risk of injury as it is low impact (not jarring on the joints) and doesn’t require any special equipment or training.
