The Inner Southern Metro Community Passenger Network (CPN) may be able to help people who need transport assistance, either within or outside the region area to attend a:

  • Medical appointment
  • Social activity
  • Shopping
  • Family or community event.



People living in the inner southern metro region (Cities of Marion, Holdfast Bay and Mitcham) who are:

  • 65 years or older;
  • 50 years or older of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) heritage;
  • Under 65 years or under 50 years identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander living with disability;
  • Transport disadvantaged;
  • Carers of the people above.

*transport disadvantaged is defined as someone who is unable to access public transport due to distance, mobility and/or availability of service, unable to drive and unable to access another person to transport them.



Eligibility for new clients requiring transport will be determined by an assessment conducted by either contacting:

My Aged Care (call 1800 200 422) - for people aged 65 years and over, and 50 years and over of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage

Inner Southern Metro CPN (call 8375 6769) - for people under 65 years or under 50 years of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage living with disability and those transport disadvantaged

To ensure you receive the services of the Inner Southern Metro CPN, you will need to request our services (Community Passenger Network Corporation of the City of Marion 1-6ZW1SG) by advising the My Aged Care contact centre or your assessor.

Existing CPN clients can contact the CPN direct to continue to receive transport assistance.


Using the Service

The CPN requires at least TWO business days notice of your transport request, call during business hours (Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm)

After hours and weekend transport options can be supported. Conditions apply.



A client contribution fee is incurred for all services provide as recommended by the program funding body. They are small in value compared to commercial operators and this structure will be discussed with you at the time of your registration / booking.

Our policy is to prioritise services based on need, therefore no eligible person will be denied a service because of their inability to pay.
